  • Overview

    The Lead Generation Specialist will work directly with the marketing team, brokerage managers & Vice President of Transportation and will be responsible for lead generation for Account Executives.


    The primary focus of this role is to provide support to the marketing and sales teams to operate effectively on a day to day basis.


    Responsible for working as part of a team to support the Inside Sales Representatives and Account Executives in prospecting and building a pipeline of qualified leads to meet business plans, quotas, and company objectives. The ideal candidate should be ambitious, self-motivated, detail oriented, organized, and friendly with high energy, a willingness to learn and be creative. 

    • Actively prospect into organizations that could gain value from PLS Logistics’ services
    • Develop and manage a consistent pipeline of qualified prospective opportunities
    • Work with marketing and the sales team to devise sales campaigns, identify target groups, and generate your own leads
    • Identify sales opportunities and contact points
    • Follow through on qualified leads from internal lead generation program

    Other duties as required by business needs or as assigned


    • 1 – 2 years prior experience in B2B sales, sales support, lead generation, or related field
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • Independent, intelligent and fast learner who wants to constantly improve knowledge on current technology and grow as a professional
    • Sales administration support including updates to CRM, report preparation, document presentation review, meeting coordination
    • Enthusiasm and a professional attitude a must
    • Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
    • Experience in Salesforce
    • Preferred experience in CRM platform such as Pardot or HubSpot
