  • Overview

    Ensure daily customer requirements and carrier utilization plans are met with respect to performance and profitability.


    • Assist all accounts on operational needs and resolve carrier and client issues
    • Build shipment in accordance with clients customer service requirements
    • Communicate shipping requirements in an accurate and timely manner
    • Communicate service related issues and resolutions
    • Enter loads in PLSPRO, using account-specific procedures
    • Ensure load specifics match requested equipment type, pickup/delivery time, and transit time
    • Strive for continual process improvement
    • Dispatch shipments to motor carriers by following customer service requirements and carrier utilization plans to achieve performance and profit objectives
    • Monitor and ensure shipments are confirmed picked up and delivered as scheduled
    • Maintain productive working relationships with customer representatives, motor carriers, and PLS employees
    • Other duties as required by business needs or as assigned



    Minimum Requirements

    • PC proficient (Microsoft Office preferred) organizational, written, and interpersonal communication skills
    • Ability to handle a fast-paced, high-stress environment
    • Detail oriented


    Minimum Qualifications

    • Work experience in related field
