  • Overview

    The Account Manager will be responsible for the operations of our team.


    • Ensure that day to day activities of Customer Service Representatives (CSR) and Logistics Coordinators (LC) are meeting the needs of the customer.
    • Provide support to CSR and LC when needed, to secure proper truck dispatch for Load Movement team.
    • Monitor overall service levels/metrics for assigned customers.
    • Guide assigned CSRs and LCs and ensures that they have adequate training and development.
    • Work with Rate Department and Margin Department to develop shipper rates.
    • Participate in twice-yearly (minimum) customer service account reviews with assigned accounts, including metrics reporting as requested
    • Ensure the profit and service (KPIs) objectives for the accounts are satisfied.
    • Facilitate growth opportunities within account
    • Continuous improved opportunities identified internally and externally.
    • Other duties as assigned or requested


    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
    • Strong customer service skills
    • Knowledge of the transportation and logistics industry
    • Work weekends on a rotating shift, fast-paced, high-stress environment
