    PLS Logistics Services is a leading provider of transportation management, brokerage and technology services for shippers across all industries. We are hiring a marketing intern for Fall 2018. The successful candidate must be a full-time college student and studying Communications, Marketing, PR or a related field. We are looking for a driven individual who wants to learn more about content marketing, email campaigning, graphic design, social media and ad buying. We are able to offer a flexible schedule, provide learning and career opportunities.

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities & Duties:

    • Research and analyze the industry and competition to provide actionable solutions for expanding digital reach
    • Write content (blogs, white papers, case studies) to be repurposed on social media
    • Develop social media and email campaigns
    • Monitor PLS online reputation (social media, Glassdoor)
    • Assist in writing, designing and editing company digital newsletter
    • Assist in proofreading, editing presentations
    • Create lists for email campaigns as needed
    • Suggest new ideas to funnel prospects and leads to sales
    • Plan corporate events and take photos
    • Proficient in Word programs

    Qualifications

    • Familiar with social media and social media strategy
    • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
    • Strong writer and communicator
    • Proactive, organized, attention to detail, ability to prioritize
    • Currently enrolled in or graduated from a bachelor’s program relative to Business, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, etc.
    • Preferably a Junior or Senior
    • Experience with design (Adobe suite) a plus
    • Experience with HubSpot & Email marketing a plus
